The Pench 42 LED Linear Chandelier is Kelly Wearstler's entry-scale horizontal ceiling piece in the Pench series — a 42-inch linear suspension with the precise hardware execution and warm brass finish that defines the Wearstler approach to linear ceiling fixtures. The Pench design is fundamentally architectural: a slim, horizontal form that reads as a line of warm light on the ceiling rather than a decorative object attached to it. The integrated LED produces warm 2700K illumination along the full 42-inch span, providing even, flattering light across a dining table of 6–8 feet or a kitchen island of similar width. The design's restraint is its strength: it does not compete with the room's other materials and surfaces, but instead illuminates them.

What dining table size is the Pench 42 designed for?
The 42-inch linear suits dining tables 6–8 feet long. For tables 8–10 feet, the Pench 54 is the better choice. As a rule, the fixture should be approximately two-thirds the table length.

What hanging height is recommended for dining?
