Sky Sound combines Pablo's two-sided Sky LED lamp with a PET felted disc shade that helps soak up ambient noise. The result is a pendant that lights the room up and down and makes busy dining rooms, offices and restaurants feel calmer. The felt comes in Stone Grey or Anthracite and hangs from a polished aluminum or matte black lamp, in 18", 24" and 32".

Room fit: where it works best

• Open offices and meeting rooms: rows of 24" or 32" pendants light desks and soften echo.
• Restaurants and cafés: over tables where hard floors and glass make rooms loud.
• Homes: dining rooms and open kitchens with high ceilings or concrete floors.
• Brightness: 1,250 lumens per pendant, similar to a 75–100 W incandescent bulb.
• Hanging height: about 30–36" above a table, or 7 ft+ above the floor in walkways.

Who this is not for

• Not for outdoor use or wet locations: Pablo does not list a damp or wet rating.
• Not a plug-in: it hardwires to a junction box and should be installed by an electrician.
• Felt near a range can collect grease; in a kitchen, keep it over the island or table rather than the cooktop.
• Pablo does not publish an NRC or acoustic rating; one pendant softens a room but won't replace acoustic panels in a very loud space.

We've been curating modern lighting since 2009, and Sky is the kind of design we look for: one quiet idea done extremely well. Each lamp is two lights in one. A glare-free flat panel lights the table below while an LED array washes the ceiling above, so a single pendant fills the room with soft, even light instead of a harsh pool. It dims warm like an incandescent bulb, and because the whole collection is built around the same Sky Solo lamp, you can mix bare lamps, metal, wood and felt shades, or chandelier groupings across a home or a restaurant and still have everything match.

Buy once: longevity and care

• Long-life LED: the integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours, about 17 years at 8 hours a day.
• Felt care: remove dust with a soft brush or a vacuum on low suction with a brush attachment; spot-clean with a barely damp cloth.
• Care: switch off and let the lamp cool, then dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive, solvent or ammonia cleaners on the aluminum and painted finishes.
• Warranty: 1-year Pablo Designs warranty.

Does Sky Sound really reduce noise?

Pablo designed the PET felt shade to minimize ambient noise, and several pendants together noticeably soften echo in hard-surfaced rooms. Pablo does not publish an NRC rating.

Which felt colors are available?

Stone Grey and Anthracite in 18" and 24"; the 32" is offered in Stone Grey on this listing.

Does Sky light the ceiling too?

Yes. Each lamp sends about 850 lumens down through a glare-free flat panel and about 400 lumens up, so the ceiling glows and the room feels evenly lit rather than dark above the fixture.

What does "dim to warm" mean?

At full brightness Sky glows a 2700K warm white. As you dim it, the light shifts toward a cozier 2200K, the way an incandescent bulb does.

Which dimmer should I use?

Pablo lists Sky as fully dimmable with TRIAC/ELV (forward and reverse phase) dimmers and recommends an ELV dimmer for the smoothest low end. 0–10V and DALI versions are available on request.

Can I get a fixed 3000K color temperature?

Pablo builds Sky in 3000K on request, and 2700K or 3500K fixed versions on volume orders. Contact our trade desk for lead time.
