The Laurel 12 Flush Mount is Kelly Wearstler's ceiling piece for spaces where a pendant simply will not fit — a 12-inch Italian glass shade mounted directly to the ceiling in a configuration that is compact enough for corridors, bathrooms, small bedrooms, and any position where ceiling height is limited but the design brief still calls for genuine material quality. The hand-blown Italian glass is the same material used in the Laurel pendant and chandelier family: its surface texture catches and diffracts the integrated LED's warm output in a way that flat frosted glass cannot, giving the fixture a sense of depth and character that exceeds what its modest scale would suggest. Mounted flush, it reads as a deliberate design element rather than a utility light.
