The Kable Lite 75W 12V Magnetic Surface Transformer by Visual Comfort Modern is a single-feed, surface-mounted magnetic transformer for mid-size Kable Lite installations. It converts 120V to 12V with a 75W maximum load — ideal for 5 to 10 LED MR16 heads on a short residential run. Magnetic construction provides quiet operation and compatibility with both LED and halogen MR16 lamps. Requires an ELV dimmer. Satin nickel finish.

A: At 7–10W per LED MR16, the 75W transformer comfortably powers 6–8 heads at an 80% load factor. For runs with more heads, step up to the 100W electronic LED or 150W magnetic transformer.

Q: Can I use this transformer in a surface kit or do I need to buy a full kit?
A: This transformer can be purchased on its own and combined with separately purchased cable, turnbuckles, and anchors — or start with the 150W Surface Kit which includes all hardware.
