The Flar Table Lamp draws inspiration from traditional storm lamps, which surrounded the flame with a glass tube to protect it from wind and rain. Flar replaces the flame with a light bulb, which is magnified and softly diffused by the tinted glass shade. The unique curves and bubbles of the blown glass shade are contrasted by the precisely cut steel base, which appears to be folding open like a flower's petals. Flar's large scale and intriguing shape make it suitable for both residential or commercial use as a table or floor lamp. Dimmer switch located on cord.
