The Collier Crystal 40 Wall Sconce is the mid-range fixture in the Crystal wall family — scaled for rooms with 9-to-10-foot ceilings where the 28-inch version would appear modest and the 53-inch version would be out of proportion. At 40 inches tall, it delivers a column of prismatic crystal light that reads prominently from across even generously proportioned rooms: a vertical accent of Czech crystal brilliance that performs as well in a hotel corridor as it does flanking a residential fireplace or dining room mirror. All hardware is concealed within the engineered brass connector system.
The fixture ships with a universal 120-277V driver and is fully dimmable via TRIAC, ELV, or 0-10V systems. Damp-rated for bathroom and covered outdoor use. Available in Dark Bronze, Natural Brass, and Polished Nickel with 2700K or 3000K color temperature.
Designed by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort Modern Collection.

Frequently Asked Questions
What ceiling height is best suited to the Crystal 40 Sconce?
The 40-inch sconce reads best against walls with ceilings 9 feet or higher. For 8-foot ceilings, the 28-inch sconce is more proportionate. For ceilings above 11 feet, consider the 53-inch version.
Can the Crystal Collier sconces be mixed with the Alabaster Collier sconces in the same space?
Yes — the hardware, construction, and finish options are consistent across both the Crystal and Alabaster families, making them easy to combine. A deliberate mix of crystal sparkle and alabaster warmth in the same space can create a sophisticated layered effect.
Can multiple 40-inch sconces be used in a corridor or hallway?
Yes — with a minimum recommended spacing of 8–10 feet between fixtures for balanced light distribution.
What is the minimum wall width needed for the Crystal 40?
The fixture's profile is slim (approximately 3 inches wide). Even relatively narrow wall sections can accommodate it; the primary consideration is ceiling height relative to fixture height.
