The Collier Alabaster 24 Pendant is the entry-level ceiling piece in the Alabaster family — a short, elegant strand of faceted alabaster elements hanging in pendant form from a concealed driver. At 24 inches, it occupies the scale of a refined accent pendant: appropriate over a bedside table, in an alcove, flanking a larger ceiling fixture, or in any space where a compact ceiling light with material richness is the right answer. The Czech-manufactured alabaster diffuses integrated LED light from within the stone, creating a warm column of light that is distinctly different from glass or acrylic alternatives.

Two alabaster elements link through custom-engineered brass connectors with no visible fasteners, letting the form read as a clean, continuous object. Remote and surface driver options are available, giving flexibility for both concealed-ceiling and standard box installations. Sloped ceilings up to 45° are supported. Like all Collier Alabaster products, the fixture is damp-rated and fully dimmable across TRIAC, ELV, and 0-10V systems.

Available in Bronze, Hand Rubbed Antique Brass, and Polished Nickel, with 2700K or 3000K color temperature. Custom configurations and lengths are available through the factory.

What is the difference between the remote and surface driver options?
The surface driver is installed in the canopy and is the simpler installation. The remote driver is installed in an accessible remote location in the ceiling, creating a cleaner, lower-profile canopy. A mud-in canopy kit can also be ordered separately with the remote driver for the most minimal ceiling appearance.

Can I hang multiple Collier Alabaster pendants from a single canopy?
The Collier pendant is designed as a single-strand drop. For multi-pendant configurations, individual fixtures are typically hung in clusters at varying heights. Contact Visual Comfort for custom multi-pendant solutions.

How does this differ from the Crystal Collier 24 Pendant (700CLR24)?
The Alabaster version uses solid faceted alabaster glass for a soft, warm, diffused glow. The Crystal version (700CLR24) uses Czech crystal for more sparkle and light refraction. Both share identical hardware and brass connector construction — the choice is primarily about the quality and character of light output preferred.

Is this pendant suitable for outdoor covered areas?
Yes — the fixture is damp-rated, making it appropriate for covered porches, exterior entries, and similar covered locations.
