The Brox Connector and its variants are the joint system that makes Visual Comfort's Brox modular linear installation possible — aluminum connection hardware in Nightshade Black that links Light Bars and Blank Bars together and secures the assembled run to the wall or ceiling. The Wall Connector is the primary mounting point that attaches the system to a junction box; the I, L, C-corner, and T Connectors allow the run to extend straight, turn 90-degree corners, make C-shaped returns, or branch in a T-configuration — giving designers the geometry to wrap around architectural features, follow ceiling planes, or create any linear configuration the space requires.
All connectors are machined from the same Nightshade Black aluminum profile as the Light and Blank Bars, maintaining visual continuity across joints. The system is intentionally hardware-agnostic in appearance: what you see from below is an unbroken black line, not a collection of screws and brackets. The connectors transmit electrical power through the run where needed — Light Bars draw from wherever they're connected in the circuit — while Blank Bars pass through without drawing current.
Order the Wall Connector ($40) as the starting point for any Brox installation, then add I, L, C-corner, or T Connectors ($80–$112.50) to complete the geometry of your run. Pair with Brox Aircraft Cable for ceiling suspension support at intermediate points. Free shipping at MetropolitanDecor.com.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many Wall Connectors does a Brox installation require?
A: Every Brox installation requires at least one Wall Connector to connect the system to the electrical junction box. Longer or more complex runs may benefit from a second Wall Connector as a secondary mounting and power-feed point. Consult the Brox spec sheet for guidance on power feed placement based on run length.
Q: Can I use multiple connector types in the same run?
A: Yes — the Wall, I, L, C, and T Connectors are all compatible with each other and with any combination of Light Bars and Blank Bars. A typical complex installation might use one Wall Connector, two L-Connectors to turn corners, and an I-Connector to join bars across a longer straight span.
Q: What's the difference between the C-corner and L-corner connectors?
A: The L-connector makes a single 90-degree turn — it connects one bar to another at a right angle, like the corner of a room. The C-corner connector makes a U-shaped return, connecting two parallel bars that run in opposite directions — useful for wrapping around a column or creating a symmetric frame around an architectural feature.
