Open the lid and it unfolds on a cantilever, lifting a tray with adjustable, removable dividers above a deep lower compartment, so everything is in view at once. The steel body measures L 13.8 × W 6.9 × H 8.7 in and weighs 2.6 kg (5.7 lb), and a hole lets you add a padlock. Use it for tools, art supplies, make-up, medicine, snacks or tea. Because it was made for industry, it is painted rather than powder coated and has no clear topcoat: small imperfections can fall within Toyo’s tolerances, and chips and wear with use become a patina.

Specifications

Brand: Toyo Steel (Japan, since 1969)

Model: ST-350

Type: Two-level cantilever toolbox

Colors: Red, Orange, Mustard, Yellow, Antique Green, Military Green, Japanese Tea Green, Blue, Indigo, Glacier, Shocking Pink, Lilac, Beige, Silver, White, Black

Dimensions: L 13.8 × W 6.9 × H 8.7 in

Weight: 2.6 kg (5.7 lb)

Material: Painted steel, gloss finish, no clear topcoat

Inside: Cantilever lid opening to one upper tray with adjustable, removable dividers, plus a deep lower compartment

Security: Hole for a padlock

Made in: Japan

Item numbers (MPN): TO-ST350 + color code (e.g. Red TO-ST350RE, Black TO-ST350BK)

Features

Cantilever lid lifts a divided tray above the main compartment

Adjustable, removable dividers

L 13.8 × W 6.9 × H 8.7 in; 2.6 kg

Padlock hole

Painted steel in 16 colors

Made in Japan by Toyo Steel

Best for

Art and craft supplies, a make-up kit, first-aid or medicine storage, a tea and snack box, a sewing kit, or a classic toolbox. Toyo Steel has made steel toolboxes in Japan since 1969. Its boxes were designed for workshops, garages and factories, but their clean lines and colors have made them design classics at home, where they hold art supplies, make-up, medicine, snacks or tea as easily as tools.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. The paint has no clear topcoat, as the boxes were made for workshops, so small chips, scratches and signs of wear can appear with regular use; they become part of its patina.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of the Toyo ST-350 toolbox?

L 13.8 × W 6.9 × H 8.7 in, and it weighs 2.6 kg (5.7 lb).

How does the Toyo ST-350 open?

The lid opens on a cantilever that lifts the upper tray up and out, revealing the lower compartment at the same time.

Can I change the dividers in the Toyo ST-350 tray?

Yes, the dividers are adjustable and removable.

Why might my Toyo ST-350 show small paint marks?

It is painted for workshop use, without a clear topcoat; minor imperfections fall within Toyo’s tolerances, and wear becomes patina over time.

Can the Toyo ST-350 be locked?

Yes, it has a hole for a padlock.

What can I store in a Toyo ST-350 besides tools?
