inside a frame of chrome-plated steel tube, a sled base that runs along the floor on each side and wraps up into the arms. Sled runners spread the load, so the chair glides over carpet and sits steady on stone lobby floors. It is the version we see most in condo lobbies and corporate reception areas, usually in black, grey or silver.
