The counter stool has a 25.6 in seat and the bar stool a 29.5 in seat, and both come with shell and legs finished together in walnut or black. Without upholstery there is nothing to stain or wear through, which suits family kitchens, coffee bars and quick-turn restaurant counters. The low curved back gives a place to lean while keeping the stool tidy under an overhang.

Specifications

Counter stool: 31 in high x 19.7 in wide x 18.1 in deep (78.7 x 50 x 46 cm), seat 25.6 in high (65 cm)

Bar stool: 32.7 in high x 19.7 in wide x 18.1 in deep (83.1 x 50 x 46 cm), seat 29.5 in high (74.9 cm)

Weight capacity: 350 lb (159 kg)

Seat and back: molded plywood shell with ash veneer, walnut or black finish

Legs: solid ash with footrest, finished to match the shell

Box size: counter 33.5 x 21.5 x 20 in (85.1 x 54.6 x 50.8 cm); bar 37.5 x 21.5 x 20 in (95.2 x 54.6 x 50.8 cm); one stool per box

Designer: sohoConcept in-house design team

Where to use it

Kitchen islands and breakfast counters

Coffee bars, bakeries and juice bars

Restaurant counters with fast table turns

Scandinavian and minimal Modern kitchens

Planning notes

Choose Counter (25.6 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (29.5 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Allow about 22 in of counter per stool.

Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.

Pair with Janelle dining chairs in the same finish for a matching kitchen and dining area.

Shipping: in-stock stools ship in 3 to 5 business days.
