The runners rest flat on the floor, so the chair glides rather than digs in, and the open frame gives a gentle spring when you sit. It comes in three set pairings, coffee canvas on walnut, grey canvas on black, and white canvas on natural beech, from warm Mid-Century to pale Scandinavian. The breathable webbing and wide arms make it a relaxed host chair, a dining chair for long meals, or a desk chair in a study.

Specifications

Dimensions: 31.5 in high x 23.6 in wide x 20.5 in deep (80 x 59.9 x 52.1 cm)

Weight capacity: 350 lb (159 kg)

Frame: bent beech plywood, cantilever with floor runners; walnut, black or natural finish

Seat and back: hand-woven canvas webbing, coffee, grey or white

Box: 31.5 x 25 x 21.6 in (80 x 63.5 x 54.9 cm), one chair per box

Design: sohoConcept Industrial Modern team

Where to use it

Dining rooms with wood tables in walnut, oak or ash

Studies, home offices and reading corners

Boutique hotel rooms and guest suites

Scandinavian, Japandi and Mid-Century interiors

Planning notes

Allow about 28 in of table edge per chair; the arms make it wider than a side chair.

The flat runners spread the load, which is kind to rugs and wood floors.

Each finish comes as a set pairing of frame and canvas color.

For a lower lounge version, ask about the Flamingo lounge chair.

Shipping: in-stock chairs ship in 3 to 5 business days.
