Order it with a walnut veneer back for a two-tone look, or with the back padded to match for a quieter, all-black profile. The gunmetal steel frame keeps Coral's tapered back legs and slim front legs, giving a soft industrial sheen that pairs well with concrete, walnut and blackened steel. At 16 in wide with a 19 in seat, it fits closely along banquettes and long tables in restaurants, offices and homes.

Specifications

Dimensions: 32 in high x 16 in wide x 21 in deep (81.3 x 40.6 x 53.3 cm), seat 19 in high (48.3 cm)

Weight capacity: 300 lb (136 kg)

Seat: padded, upholstered in black PPM-S

Back: walnut veneer plywood, or padded and upholstered in black PPM-S

Frame: steel, gunmetal finish

Customer's own material: 0.9 yd of fabric (0.82 m) or 16.5 sq ft of leather (1.53 m²)

Box: 41 x 21.5 x 17 in (104.1 x 54.6 x 43.2 cm), two chairs per box

Upholstery guarantee: PPM-S 5 years

Design: sohoConcept Industrial Modern team

Where to use it

Restaurant dining rooms and wine bars that want a padded seat with a cafe profile

Conference and meeting rooms

Kitchen and dining tables in lofts and condos

Industrial interiors with concrete, brick or blackened steel

Planning notes

Allow about 22 in of table edge per chair; the frame is only 16 in wide.

Choose the walnut back where you want warmth at eye level, the padded back where chairs line a wall or banquette.

Chairs ship two to a box.

For an all-wood version, see the Coral dining chair; for counters, see the Coral Soft Seat stool.

Shipping: in-stock chairs ship in 3 to 5 business days.
