It stands 80 in tall with a 80 in reach on a base measuring 17"DIA. x 2"H. Nova groups full-size arcs at 80 to 95 in, tall enough to sit over a sofa or a sectional. It gives 1500 lumens of 2700K warm light; it dims from a dimmer on the floor. It comes in one finish, chosen by Nova to work in most rooms.

Details and dimensions

Brand: Nova of California

Model: Melmar Arc Floor Lamp

Type: Arc floor lamp

Overall dimensions: 80 in H x 20 in W x 80 in reach

Base: 17"DIA. x 2"H

Shade: EMPIRE, Lucite, 20" DIA..X 10"V

Body material: Wood/Steel

Base material: Steel

Weight: 20.3 lb

Shade: White

Body Finish: Weathered Brass

Base Finish: Black

Light source: 14W A19 E26 (1 bulb), 1500 lumens, 2700K, CRI 95+, 25,000-hour rated life, 100W incandescent equivalent

Voltage: 120 V

Dimmable: Yes

Switch: Dimmer, floor

Installation: Plug-in

Cord: Black, 11 ft

Assembly: Required

Item numbers (MPN): 21266WB

Delivery: Ships in 3 to 5 business days

Features

Size: 80 in tall, 20 in wide, and 80 in reach.

Body: wood/steel with a steel base.

Shade: empire lucite, 20" DIA..X 10"V.

Light: 14W A19 E26 (1 bulb), 1500 lumens, 2700K, CRI 95+, 25,000-hour rated life, 100W incandescent equivalent.

Control: dimmer on the floor, fully dimmable.

Finishes: single finish as shown.

Where it works best

Use it over a sofa or sectional, above a dining table, or in a room with no ceiling fixture. It also needs final assembly, so plan a few minutes for setup.

Why we carry Nova of California

Nova started in 1923 in a Brooklyn factory and has been designing lighting ever since. Today the company is based in Venice Beach, California, and it still builds lamps around the idea its founders had: make a home warmer, cozier and easier to live in. We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Nova earns its place for one reason: the proportions look expensive and the build is meant to stay in the house for years.

Care, bulbs and dimming

Dust with a dry cloth and skip harsh cleaners. Nova says a damp cloth is fine on clear or mirrored glass, and that a standard touch-up pen covers minor scratches on wood or gold leaf. The 14W A19 E26 light source is not included; for dimming, Nova recommends quality dimmable, flicker-free LEDs.

Want to know more about what you are buying? The factory LED in this arc floor lamp is 23W and puts out 1500 lumens, roughly the output of a 100W incandescent, using a fraction of the power and giving off far less heat. An incandescent bulb has a slightly rounder, warmer glow but runs hot and wears out sooner. If you ever swap bulbs, match the base type and pick a dimmable, flicker-free LED at 2700K so the light stays consistent. Our LED vs. incandescent bulb guide has a chart that matches old wattages to the right LED.

Assembly and instructions

This item ships in parts and Nova lists final assembly as required.
