The Zig Zag line pays homage to the zigzag stitch that made Missoni recognizable worldwide in the 1960s; here the chevron is pressed into coloured glass.

Specifications

Brand: Missoni Home

Collection: Zig Zag

Colorway: Grey

Piece: Champagne Glass

Pieces included: 6

Dimensions: Ø 2.5 x H 5.5 in (6.4 x 14 cm)

Capacity: 11 fl oz (325 ml)

Material: Glass

Dishwasher: Yes, per the distributor

Microwave: Not stated by the distributor

Gift packaging: Not listed by the distributor

Made in: Not specified per item by the distributor (designed in Italy)

Item number (MPN): MHCZZG081

EAN barcode: 8059037132057

Shipping: Ships in 2–3 business days

Features

Glass

Missoni Zig Zag pattern, Grey colorway

Dishwasher safe per the distributor

Designed in Italy

Best for

Use it for sparkling wine and cocktails. The patterns are the same ones the house built its name on, so a single champagne glass brings the whole Missoni story to the table.

The Missoni story

Ottavio and Rosita Missoni founded Missoni in 1953 in Gallarate, northern Italy, as a small knitwear workshop. Their zigzag and striped knits made the name world-famous in the 1960s. Missoni Home grew out of the family's furnishing fabrics, and Rosita Missoni went on to lead the home collection from the 1990s. Today the tableware is designed in Italy and sold through luxury department stores and design boutiques worldwide.

Worth the investment

Brought out twice a week for ten years, $395 comes to about $0.38 per use (our math), for pieces that stay in the family.

Buy once: durability and care

The distributor lists it as dishwasher safe.
