It is 7 to 7.75 in wide and 7 to 11.5 in high and sits 6.75 to 9.25 in off the wall, with 1 light, in Satin Brass / Black.

It takes an E12 Candelabra bulb up to 40W. A 2700K to 3000K LED bulb keeps a hallway, living room or bedroom warm; 3500K reads crisper on a stairway. It installs with the light facing up or down: up for a soft wash on the wall, down for reading and walkway light. Satin White glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. The Satin Brass / Black finish fits Mid-Century Modern schemes.

Details and dimensions

Brand: Maxim Lighting

Collection: Vesper

Type: Wall sconce

Style: Mid-Century Modern

Lights: 1

Dimensions: 7 in (17.8 cm) wide, 7 in (17.8 cm) high; 7.75 in (19.7 cm) wide, 11.5 in (29.2 cm) high

Extension from wall: 6.75 in (17.1 cm) (7 in size); 9.25 in (23.5 cm) (7.75 in size)

Backplate: 4.75 x 4.75 in (12.1 x 12.1 cm) W x H

Mounting direction: Any

Finishes: Satin Brass / Black

Glass or shade: Satin White

Material: Aluminum, Glass, Steel

Light source: 1 x E12 Candelabra socket, 40W max each, bulbs not included

Voltage: 120V

Location rating: Damp

Certification: cETLus

Net weight: 1.54 lb (0.7 kg) (7 in size); 4.41 lb (2 kg) (7.75 in size)

Packed weight: 2.82 lb (1.3 kg) (7 in size); 5.37 lb (2.4 kg) (7.75 in size)

Item numbers (MPN): 26030SWSBRBK, 26033SWSBRBK

Delivery: Ships in 3 to 5 business days.

Where it works best

In a hallway or living room, center each sconce at roughly eye level, about 5 ft 6 in (168 cm) up, with 8 to 10 ft between fixtures. Next to a bed, place it 2 to 2.5 ft over the mattress top so the light falls on a book. On a stairway, keep each sconce the same height above the treads. Either side of a bathroom mirror, mount them at about eye level, 36 to 40 in apart, for even light on the face.

Who this is not for

It projects 9.25 in, beyond the 4 in ADA limit, so it is not for a commercial corridor or a narrow public hall. It is damp rated, so a bathroom or covered porch is fine, but not a spot exposed to rain or shower spray.
