It works best on ceilings of 8 to 9 ft; keep at least 7 ft of clearance below it in a walkway. For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good diameter (a 10 x 12 ft room takes about a 22 in fixture).

Who this is not for

It is dry rated, so it is not for a shower area, an uncovered porch or other damp spots. Bulbs are sold separately. At up to 16 in tall, it needs a ceiling of at least 8.5 ft to keep headroom.

Why we carry Maxim

Maxim publishes full specifications, assembly sheets and dimension drawings for its fixtures, which lets us answer fit and installation questions precisely before you order.

Care and installation

Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
