It is 12.25 in (31.1 cm) wide and 6.5 in (16.5 cm) high and sits 3.5 in (8.9 cm) off the wall, with 2 lights, in Polished Chrome.

It takes an E12 G16.5 bulb up to 60W. A 2700K to 3000K LED bulb keeps a hallway, living room or bedroom warm; 3500K reads crisper on a stairway. It is ADA compliant at 3.5 in (8.9 cm) deep, so it suits corridors, hotel rooms and other commercial spaces. Clear glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. The Polished Chrome finish fits Transitional schemes.

Details and dimensions

Brand: Maxim Lighting

Collection: Looking Glass

Type: Wall sconce

Style: Transitional

Lights: 2

Dimensions: 12.25 in (31.1 cm) wide, 6.5 in (16.5 cm) high

Extension from wall: 3.5 in (8.9 cm)

Backplate: 12 x 6.4 in (30.5 x 16.3 cm) W x H

Mounting direction: Up

ADA compliant: Yes

Finishes: Polished Chrome

Glass or shade: Clear

Material: Steel, Glass

Light source: 2 x E12 G16.5 sockets, 60W max each, bulbs not included

Voltage: 120V

Location rating: Damp

Certification: cULus

Net weight: 3.08 lb (1.4 kg)

Packed weight: 5.28 lb (2.4 kg)

Item numbers (MPN): 21292CLPC

Delivery: Ships in 3 to 5 business days.

Where it works best

In a hallway or living room, center each sconce at roughly eye level, about 5 ft 6 in (168 cm) up, with 8 to 10 ft between fixtures. Next to a bed, place it 2 to 2.5 ft over the mattress top so the light falls on a book. On a stairway, keep each sconce the same height above the treads. Either side of a bathroom mirror, mount them at about eye level, 36 to 40 in apart, for even light on the face.

Who this is not for

It is damp rated, so a bathroom or covered porch is fine, but not a spot exposed to rain or shower spray.
