It comes at 12 in (30.5 cm) wide, with 1 light, in Black, Satin Nickel or Natural Aged Brass.

Each socket takes an E26 Medium bulb up to 60W. A 2700K to 3000K LED bulb keeps a bedroom or hallway warm; 3500K to 4000K suits a kitchen, laundry room or closet. It works on a standard dimmer, which lets the same fixture handle a bright task and a soft evening setting. Clear glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. Choose Black, Satin Nickel or Natural Aged Brass to match hardware, faucets or cabinet pulls in the room; it suits Transitional schemes.

Details and dimensions

Brand: Maxim Lighting

Collection: Goblet Clear

Type: Flush mount

Style: Transitional

Lights: 1

Dimensions: 12 in (30.5 cm) wide, 13.5 in (34.3 cm) high

Finishes: Black, Satin Nickel, Natural Aged Brass

Glass or shade: Clear

Material: Steel, Glass

Light source: 1 x E26 Medium socket, 60W max each, bulbs not included

Dimming: Standard dimmer

Voltage: 120V

Location rating: Dry

Certification: cULus

Net weight: 5.69 lb (2.6 kg)

Packed weight: 7.36 lb (3.3 kg)

Item numbers (MPN): 26139CLBK, 26139CLNAB, 26139CLSN

Delivery: Ships in 3 to 5 business days.

Where it works best

A flush mount sits tight to the ceiling, so it suits ceilings of 8 ft and lower, where a hanging fixture would cut into headroom. For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good diameter (a 10 x 12 ft bedroom takes about a 22 in fixture). A hallway or closet usually needs 11 to 14 in; in a long hallway, space fixtures about 8 to 10 ft apart.

Who this is not for

It is dry rated, so it is not for a shower area, an uncovered porch or other damp spots. Bulbs are sold separately. At up to 13.5 in tall, it sits lower than a slim flush mount; on a ceiling under 8 ft, pick a shallower model.

Why we carry Maxim

Maxim matches its finishes across collections, so a chandelier, its pendants and its sconces read as one scheme. That is how we build a room around one fixture.

Care and installation

Dust with a soft, dry cloth; clean glass with a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner, with the power off. A qualified electrician should make the connection.
