It measures 17 × 17 inches and is three-quarters of an inch thick, in veneered wood with clear lacquered and black painted squares and a wool felt bottom that protects the table. Made in Germany and gift boxed.

IC Design created the board as the companion to its re-edition of Man Ray’s 1920s chess pieces, so the two share the same black-and-natural palette. IC Design says the board was developed with a third-generation German family maker that has supplied chess boards to generations of players, Bobby Fischer among them.

Specifications

Brand: IC Design (Zurich)

Model: Man Ray Chess Board

Designer: Made to accompany Man Ray’s chess pieces

Materials: Veneered wood with clear lacquered and black painted finishes; wool felt bottom

Dimensions: 17" × 17" × 0.75"

Pieces: Not included (sold separately)

Packaging: Gift boxed

Made in: Germany

Item number (MPN): IC-MRCB

Features

Veneered wood with clear lacquered and black painted finishes; wool felt bottom

Designed by Made to accompany Man Ray’s chess pieces

Made in Germany

IC Design edition

Gift boxed

Best for

Coffee tables, game tables and studies.
