The fixture is 43.5 in long, 13 in wide and 13.25 in tall, weighs 7.49 lb, and gives 2,080 lumens from 3 watts per lamp. A 120 in cord and a 9.75 in canopy let you adjust the overall height from 15 to 133 in, and a 15 degree slope allowance helps on a mild pitch. In a restaurant or bar, one over a banquette gives a warm glow that flatters faces. Because the maker offers two wall sconce configurations in the same style, you can repeat the globes on the walls for a cohesive scheme.

Who this is not for

Planetary is rated Dry, so it does not belong in bathrooms with showers or covered outdoor spaces. The G9 lamps are small and generate a little heat inside the glass, so use the lamp type that matches the rating. At eight tinted globes it gives decorative, moody light, so add recessed or task lighting if you need bright work light.

Why we carry ET2

We stock Planetary because the Amber and Smoke globes give a distinct warm tone with a clean Gold frame. It also scales across a table or a counter with a single canopy.

Care and installation

Dust the globes with a soft cloth and wipe with a damp microfiber cloth, then dry.
