Use it with a big salad bowl at a beach-house dinner, on a buffet line at a seaside restaurant or beside a pasta platter at a family table. The rope wrap gives a secure, warm grip and a nautical look.

The pieces are about 12 in long, a good length for a medium to large bowl. The nickel heads shine against the matte rope, and the set looks at home next to white dinnerware, weathered wood and glass. The rope wrap stays comfortable to hold even when the nickel heads are warm from hot pasta.

Specifications

Collection: Metropolitan Decor Essentials

Dimensions: 12 in W (30.5 cm)

Materials: Nickel and rope

Finish / Color: Polished nickel with natural rope handles

Pieces: Serving set, sold as shown

Assembly: No assembly required

Item number: MD-MDE-20517

Where to use it

Beach-house dining room: Serves salad or pasta at a casual dinner.

Seaside restaurant or cafe: Adds a nautical detail to a buffet.

Kitchen island: Keeps a coordinated pair of servers at hand for casual meals.

Sunroom or casual dining room: Pairs with a rope-trimmed table setting for summer entertaining.

Planning notes

Pair the set with white or wood bowls so the rope and nickel stand out.
