Use it as a wastebasket in an office or a bedroom, or as a floor basket for papers and magazines.

At 12 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 12 inches tall, it fits under a desk or beside a console. The dark leather and tan stripes suit Transitional and Contemporary rooms, a hotel suite or a law office. The photos also show it beside two lidded leather boxes in the same colors, which you can use to build a desk set. The felt-lined inside protects what you store, and the leather keeps its shape better than a soft basket.

Specifications

Collection: Metropolitan Decor Essentials

Dimensions: 12 in W x 9 in D x 12 in H (30.5 x 22.9 x 30.5 cm)

Materials: Leather, felt, wood

Finish / Color: Navy leather with cigar leather stripes

Pieces: One basket

Assembly: This item does not require assembly

Item number: MD-MDE-20403

Where to use it

Home office: Use as a wastebasket beside the desk.

Bedroom: Hold magazines or a folded throw by a chair.

Hotel suite: Place at the desk as an upscale wastebasket.

Study: Store rolled papers and plans.

Planning notes

Place it where the stripe faces the room so the color shows.
