The servers lift greens, pasta and sides, and the high-contrast handles give a plain white bowl a graphic edge.

At 11 inches long and 2.5 inches wide, the pair reaches the bottom of a standard salad bowl. The stripes suit modern, glam and transitional tables, and the pair matches the Echium cheese set for a coordinated spread.

Specifications

Collection: Metropolitan Decor Essentials

Dimensions: 2.5 in W x 11 in H (6.3 x 27.9 cm)

Materials: Stainless steel with resin and mother-of-pearl handles

Finish / Color: Polished steel with black and pearl striped handles

Pieces: Two: spoon and fork

Item number: MD-MDE-20122

Where to use it

Dinner table: Serve salad family-style with a graphic pair.

Buffet line: Provide matching servers at each dish.

Restaurant or catering: Present a coordinated pair at a self-serve station.

Gift set: Pair with a salad bowl for a host gift.

Planning notes

Rest the pair across the bowl with the handles over the rim, or lay them on a plate beside it. The slim striped handles stand out against white and wood bowls.

Pair them with the four-piece Echium cheese set so a cheese board and a salad bowl match. Hand wash and dry right away, and keep the handles out of long soaking. For a hospitality buffet, set one pair per dish and keep a spare pair in the kitchen for refills.

In a monochrome room, the black and white stripes echo a graphic rug or black picture frames. At a holiday dinner, set the servers beside the main salad and a smaller bowl of roasted vegetables so guests can serve themselves without crossing the table. In a restaurant, a spare pair keeps service moving when a bowl is refilled. The stripes make the pair easy to spot on a crowded buffet.

Who this is not for

Not for cutting hard or frozen foods: these are serving tools, not kitchen knives.

Not for the dishwasher: hand wash only to protect the handles and finish.

Care

Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, then dry right away.
