Use it at a cocktail hour for canapes, at a brunch for pastries and rolls, or on a dessert table for cupcakes. The dark, textured slate makes food look bright by contrast.

It stands 17 in tall on a base of 12.25 in across, so it carries a lot of food on a small area. The natural edges of the slate vary from plate to plate, which gives it a rustic character without needing any other decoration.

Specifications

Collection: Metropolitan Decor Essentials

Dimensions: 12.25 in Dia x 17 in H (31.1 x 43.2 cm)

Materials: Slate

Finish / Color: Natural dark slate with black post

Tiers: Three round plates

Assembly: No assembly required

Item number: MD-MDE-20502

Where to use it

Cocktail party: Serves canapes at three heights within reach of guests.

Brunch or breakfast buffet: Holds pastries, rolls and fruit on one compact stand.

Restaurant or cafe: Presents small plates and desserts at the table.

Dessert table: Displays cupcakes and sweets as a centerpiece.

Planning notes

Allow about 14 in of table space for the base plate and keep the stand away from a table edge.
