The two boxes in different shapes work well together on a tray or shelf.

The stone is porous, so keep it dry and wipe it gently. Natural veining varies from piece to piece, which makes each box slightly different. Place it on a tray or mat to protect furniture, and keep the lid on when not in use so the fluted edge lines up. In a hotel or spa, a row of small boxes holds cotton, swabs or hair ties on a shelf. For a nightstand, one box in front of a lamp is enough, and the pale stone looks soft in warm light and fresh in daylight. Because the fluting runs vertically, the box looks best when the long lines are visible, so face the grooves toward the room. A small tray of the same pale tone can hold the box and a candle for a spa-like corner.

Who this is not for

Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.

Not for soaking: alabaster is porous and can stain or soften if left wet.

Care

Wipe gently with a soft cloth.
