It develops many of the brand’s everyday pieces in close contact with the company’s own production know-how, which goes back to 1961, and keeps each series in the shared blomus color palette so pieces can be combined across collections.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. TUYO is our go-to organic cotton bath mat: thick, absorbent Turkish cotton that is woven to be used on both sides. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Machine washable. Wash with similar colors and skip fabric softener and optical brighteners, which coat the fibers and reduce absorbency; tumble-dry on low or line-dry so the cotton keeps its shape. Its organic cotton is GOTS certified, a standard that covers both how the cotton is grown and how the finished mat is made.

Frequently asked questions

What sizes does the TUYO bath mat come in?

Square 23.6" × 23.6" (60 × 60 cm) and rectangular 23.6" × 39.4" (60 × 100 cm).

Is the TUYO mat reversible?

Yes, both sides can be used.

What is TUYO made of?

100% GOTS-certified organic cotton at 1,000 g/m², also certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

Where is the TUYO bath mat made?

In Turkey.

How do I wash TUYO?

Machine wash it; skip fabric softener and optical brighteners.

How fast will the TUYO bath mat ship?

In-stock items ship in 2–3 business days.

Trade pricing for design professionals

Interior designers, architects, hospitality buyers, spa operators and home stagers can apply to the MetropolitanDecor Trade Program for trade pricing on blomus and the rest of our catalog, a dedicated trade support line, and free catalogs.
