Tiny air bubbles inside the glass make the light look like it rises through water. It gives 115 lumens, has three light colors from 2700K to 4000K, dims smoothly and runs 4.5–47.5 hours per charge. Charging on the included station takes about 4.5 hours; blomus advises against quick-charge power cubes. The IRIS series won the German Design Award 2025 (Winner) for its larger indoor table lamp, according to blomus.

Specifications

Brand: blomus (Sundern, Germany)

Collection: IRIS

Designer: Sebastian Herkner

Type: Rechargeable LED lamp with a bubble-glass shade, for indoors and outdoors

Finishes: Gunmetal, Metallic

Dimensions: 3.9" diameter × 7.2" high (10 × 18.2 cm)

Pieces per order: Lamp with charging station

Material: Glass shade with air bubbles; aluminum base

Care: Wipe clean; no quick-charge cubes

Features: 115 lumens, 1.5 W; three light colors 2700–4000K; infinitely dimmable; 4.5–47.5 hours per charge; 4.5-hour charge on the included station

Delivery: Ships in 2–3 business days

Item numbers (MPN): Gunmetal: 67043; Metallic: 67045

Features

3.9" × 7.2" high

Bubble glass shade

3 light colors, 2700–4000K, dimmable

4.5–47.5 hours per charge

Indoor and outdoor

Best for

Nightstands, dining tables, terraces and bathrooms. IRIS is the cordless lamp we recommend when you want a lamp that is also an object: a bubble-filled glass globe on a slim aluminum base, with three light colors and smooth dimming, indoors or out. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Charge only on the supplied charging station, and keep the station dry and indoors. blomus advises against charging it with quick-charge power cubes. The bubbles are trapped inside the glass, so every shade is slightly different.

Frequently asked questions

How long does IRIS run on a charge?

4.5–47.5 hours, depending on brightness.

How bright is IRIS?

115 lumens at 1.5 W.

Can IRIS be used outside?

Yes, blomus designed it for indoor and outdoor use.

How do I charge IRIS?

On the included charging station, in about 4.5 hours; avoid quick-charge cubes.

What finishes does IRIS come in?

A Gunmetal or a Metallic aluminum base.

How fast will the IRIS bubble lamp ship?

In-stock items ship in 2–3 business days, and orders over $100 ship free by ground to the 48 contiguous states.

Trade pricing for design professionals

Interior designers, architects, hospitality buyers and home stagers can apply to the MetropolitanDecor Trade Program for trade pricing on blomus and the rest of our catalog, a dedicated trade support line, and free catalogs.
