ASHI is the fireplace collection we recommend when the hearth is the heart of the room: slim black powder-coated steel with oak handles, so the tools and log basket look like decor rather than equipment. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Brush off ash and wipe the steel with a dry cloth; keep the oak dry and away from direct flame.
