The shade measures 9" across and 6.7" high, and it hangs on a 10-foot SVT-type cord with a jacket coordinated with the black finish, under a flat canopy in plated stamped steel. You trim the cord to the drop you want at installation, and the canopy installs to a standard 4-inch box and suits sloped ceilings.

Zen is a transitional design in a transparent hourglass-shaped glass with a bubble pattern blown randomly through it. The exposed light source sits inside the shade, so the bubbles catch and bend the light for a striking effect. The glass comes in Blue, Clear, Gold, Latte or Moss Bubble. Choose the LED filament version (a replaceable, dimmable LED filament lamp is included) or the incandescent version with a lamp of your choice (not included). Besa rates it for damp locations, exterior use under a covered ceiling only.

Specifications

Brand: Besa Lighting

Collection: Zen

Type: One-light outdoor cord-hung pendant with a flat canopy

Finish: Black

Glass: Transparent hourglass-shaped handcrafted European blown glass with a random bubble pattern: Blue, Clear, Gold, Latte or Moss Bubble

Dimensions: Shade 9" diameter x 6.7" high; handcrafted glass varies slightly

Suspension: 10 ft SVT-type cord with a jacket coordinated with the black finish, trimmed to length at installation; flat canopy in plated stamped steel

Mounting: Installs directly to a 4" octagonal or round ceiling box; suitable for sloped ceilings

Lamping: 1 x 60W maximum A19 medium (E26) base lamp, not included; dims with a standard incandescent dimmer (not included); 8W replaceable filament LED source, included: 800 lumens, 3000K, CRI 80+, rated 25,000 hours, dimmable

LED performance: 800 lumens, 3000K, CRI 80+, rated 25,000 hours, dimmable

Voltage: 120V

Rating: Damp location: exterior use under a covered ceiling only; UL or ETL listed

Materials: Handcrafted glass; plated steel

Item numbers (MPN): OP-ZENBL (Blue Bubble), OP-ZENCL (Clear Bubble), OP-ZENGD (Gold Bubble), OP-ZENLT (Latte Bubble), OP-ZENMS (Moss Bubble), each ending -BK; LED filament versions add -EDIL before -BK

Features

9" x 6.7" hourglass bubble glass

Choose Blue Bubble, Clear Bubble, Gold Bubble, Latte Bubble or Moss Bubble

Black finish

10 ft SVT-type cord, trimmed to length at installation

Flat canopy; suitable for sloped ceilings

LED (800 lumens 3000K) or 60W maximum A19 medium (E26) base lamp

Damp rated, covered exterior use only; UL or ETL listed

Spec sheet & installation

Zen outdoor pendant specification sheet (PDF, from Besa Lighting)

Best for

Covered porches, pergolas, breezeways and entries, and bright indoor rooms where a damp-rated pendant is welcome. Besa Lighting pairs American design with European glass artisanship: its shades are hand-blown by skilled artisans using techniques passed down for generations, then hand-inspected at Besa’s factory in Ohio for color, pattern, thickness and size before they ship.

Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe it with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture) and dust the cord and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth (our advice).
